Job Description
PROGRAM MANAGER, WORKFORCE INITIATIVES AND POLICY IMPACTS, Economics-Blueprint Labs, to implement and oversee multiple programs, but primarily the MIT Shaping the Future of Work Initiative and Policy Impacts. Primary duties will include supporting research operations and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating and supporting the Policy Impacts research team by hiring and onboarding members, advising faculty on project needs, coordinating research fellow programming designed to increase engagement, and preparing research requests and coordinating data approvals and transfers; developing and executing a robust communications plan; representing the organization to key stakeholders; sourcing and creating content for external communications, e.g., website, media releases, policy briefs, and publications; drafting presentations, speeches, press releases, and other public communications; managing websites and social media; planning and executing events; managing the workspace for the research team; reviewing and approving financial transactions and purchases; drafting financial reports; managing project and sponsor timelines and budgets; and performing other duties as needed.

REQUIRED: a bachelor’s degree in economics, public policy, political science, computer science, or a related field; at least three years of relevant work experience; and strong administrative, communication, and management skills. Job #22886-8
This is a full-time, one-year appointment that is renewable annually (contingent on funding).
